So Loki emailed me yesterday asking me if I was still up to go see Franz Ferdinand at the Roseland Ballroom on Thursday.

And I was all, "HUH?" in my head. But I also was thinking, "Sure I'd love to go see them!"

Then I remembered a very casual conversation about me taking Loki to Fountains of Wayne and her repaying me with Franz. Franz Ferdinand...do you think that they are potentially over rated?

Me I see shades of Pulp and well ever since Jarvis started painting his face and performing in "Limp Muscle" well there hasn't been much hope for me and my cute/dirty moody British boyfriend.

What is that old saying, "Every time fate closes a window it opens and door?" Something like that or maybe nothing like it at all.

Anyway, I have a date. AND in true NYC fashion and as only NYC Clubs might dare to do, there are THREE count 'em THREE opening acts. Franz Ferdinand with Delays, The Futureheads and The Evaporators.
