ok, so, i went with miss gimlet to see Fountains of Wayne last night. and we were right in the front at Roseland, about two feet from the stage.

god, my bass player desire was kicked up tenfold. i couldn't stop staring at adam's hands. they were just, like, muscular and masterful - i told her later that i found myself staring at his groin several times during the night simply because that's where his hands were.

my head is STILL a little tingly

That's the little quote that shook me out of my funk on Saturday. How'd I find it? I was thinking about groupies and dirt and well I went a hunting to see if there was even the possiblity any Fountains of Wayne groupie commentary. I have to say that only my popgurls article popped up and well Little Miss Loki's quote.

I believe that I wrote here about her staring at Adam's groin, yes???

Well it also reminded me that I married a bass player. So in some respects I am "that girl".

Long ago in a bedroom far far away my husband played bass. His best friend fancied himself the lost Beatle and he and Gilly would like, I don't know screw around with electric instruments. Apparently they wrote a song about me, though I never heard it. Eventually (and for want of regulated noise) Gilly traded his bass for a stereo (the one sitting in our living room right now with six count'em six Fountains of Wayne cd's in it)...
