Thanks to Gert for calling to tell me that Fountains of Wayne were being interviewed on the red carpet by Joan Rivers. Poor Gert wasn't sure that it was them until she saw Chris.

Being their typical dry selves they didn't really repsond to Joan. PLUS Jodi rolled his eyes! Tee hee...after when they cut away you heard her say something along the lines of, "Well that was exciting."

Which reminds me of the Sharon Osbourne comment when they were the house band on her show, "They don't look happy especially the blonde one!"

Double tee hee.

I am betting on MTV interviewing them on the carpet during their 7PM-8PM pre-show.
