Little Squaw: Where a good girl goes to rant.
Long time no Squaw. Wednesday, February 18, 2004I haven't been sleeping the past couple of evenings. Or rather I have but to no posititive effect. I've been having vivid dreams which mostly involve nonsensical situations filled with characters from my past that left an impression on me or in me in some way, shape or form.I haven't had much luck constructing sentences during the day. What happens is I don't sleep. I go to work and slave away to no end and then I get on the bus and practically fall asleep. I get in my car and I turn on the radio and though I am tired I usually get amped up by whatever suits my fancy. Today I was singing to myself, Empty Garden (Hey Hey Johnny) which one might argue is one of the most depressing songs in the world. By the time I get home I'm enjoying myself too much to get out of the car but when I do being around Gilly makes it hard to want to go to bed. A song list is worth a thousand words I guess...meaning that the songs that I purchased this evening (they were sitting in my shopping cart since Saturday)...pretty much say it all. But you know what? I can't wipe the smile off my face now. If music isn't proof enough that God loves us then I don't know what is. Mona Lisa and Mad Hatters - E. John Mad Man Across the Water - E.
