New Year's Eve and it's hard to believe
another zodiac has gone around.

While you drank yourself high on hoping
and watched the ceiling spin from the ground.

Counting down from ten it's time
to make your annual prayer.

Secret santa in the sky
when will I get my share?

Then you tell yourself
what you want to hear.

Cause you have to believe.

This will be my year.

This will be my year...Semisonic

First things first. Who wouldn't love this link?

http://www.wam.umd.edu/~dance/heyyacb.mov

Sooooo, the day started off on the wrong foot. As I was dashing out of my car the man in the car ahead of me flung his door open and smacked me. Yup. Smacked. So then he became all apologetic and I became all "don't worry about it."

Work was a pain in the ass. Plus I felt very achy all day. The truth is that if I exercise (in this case shovel snow) then I get sick. Fluish even or Flemish but never Swedish.

I can't continue to type. My fingers are about to fall off. We thought we were soooo smart. We thought we'd make it through the winter unscathed what with the furnace working so well.

Gil came home today and the furnace was off and the house was freezing. He told me when I called him from the car on my way to pick up my meds. So when I got to the grocery store I got my meds and bought one (1) package of fresh peas and two (2) bundles of wood. Sounds normal right?

Then because we were in emergency mode I picked up FAST FOOD! YAY!!!

And the furnace was on when I got home. He got it back on but it's freezing. There's a fire burning and a furnace man on the way to the house (we pay a monthly fee for times like this).

But I just bought the three following songs so I can end the evening on the a high note...
Stilletto - B. Joel (one of my favorites)
Angry Young Man - B. Joel (ditto)
The Future Freaks Me Out - Motion City Soundtrack (very Okay Goish but I like the way this lead singer sings more)

So very diverse.

Ooooh, ohhhh, oohhh, the furnace man is here!

And there goes my right pinky. Nighty night.
